EPSI is on TV!

EPSI was mandated to create assessment instruments in order to assess potential participants who demonstrated the ability to solve problems, have an in-depth knowledge on a variety of general interest subjects as well as an active memory. A modified version of the Work Approach and Behaviour Test (WABT-TACT) was also used in order to provide an assessment of a candidate's personal characteristics with the intent of identifying which of the participants were able to work in a team, and which were able to function under stressful circumstances. EPSI's President, André Durivage, Ph.D, was a member of the selection committee which had as a mandate to select, during the final auditions, the participants representing the 4 regions of the country who will be the focus of this television show throughout the season.

GÉNIES EN HERBE : L'AVENTURE will be broadcast on Télévision de Radio-Canada, starting Saturday, January 8th at 16:00. As special telecast will also air one week earlier, on January 1, in order to present each of the contestants and the format this new show will take. Popular French-speaking broadcaster, Stéphan Bureau, will be animating this show, broadcast once again on Télévision de Radio-Canada.

WORKSHOP CONFERENCE IN PARIS: Another Success!

On July 6th, during EPSI's last visit to France, several HR professionals were invited to participate in a conference workshop on the online testing of competencies. This conference workshop was presented by Mr André Durivage Ph. D., President of EPSI, and took place at the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris. This event gave the audience the opportunity to learn more about the innovative new means used for competency assessment. On the other hand, the second part of the conference, hosted by Sabrina Poirier, also from EPSI, allowed for guests to discuss their preoccupations regarding competency management with a panel of experts in the field. EPSI, having greatly appreciated this experience, would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the participants who took the time to attend the conference workshop presented by Mr Durivage. We hope to see you in large numbers during our next edition taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland.
