  • GPS - The season starts here!

It is true that sport is essentially physical. None the less, we can never underestimate the impact that personal characteristics of an athlete can have on his sport performance. These factors can make the difference between an average athlete and an outstanding athlete. EPSI believes that physical ability, talent, effort and personal characteristics are all factors that can help to make a person a proven winner.

Like all the other assessment tools from the Compmetrica product line that have been created by EPSI over the years, the development of the General Profiler for Sports (GPS), is based on several years of research allowing for a parallel between the reality associated with a sports environment and the selection of athletes based on the competency approach. As such, the GPS was specifically created to assess the athlete's profile. The GPS measures the following elements:

    • The first part assesses the athlete's perceptual speed.
    • The second part assesses to what extent the athlete has effective problem solving abilities, including verbal, numeric, spatial, and logical aptitudes.
    • The third part is divided into two sections.
      • The first section assesses the athlete's motivational factors.
      • The second section assesses the athlete's personal factors which are recognized as having an impact on sports performance.

Do not miss this unique opportunity to learn more about your athletes' profile. For more details on the GPS, please view the information below:
